FROM PLANTING TO PROTECTING
Planting trees is just the beginning. Our app helps us understand how they grow and the
difference they make over time. By tracking tree health and location, we can give funders and
partners confidence in where trees are planted and how they are thriving, while building a
clearer picture of the long-term impact of I Dig Trees across the UK.
The app also helps us support community groups if trees need extra care, ensuring they have
the best possible chance to flourish. Volunteers become part of this process, helping us better
understand how planting sites develop and the benefits they bring for climate, wildlife and
communities.
